 Kelsey Santisteban - Castro Valley High, became the first East Bay girl since 1989 to place in the top five in the CIF Division I championship race (she finsihed 5th in 17:30). In an impressive psotseason, Santisteban also won the NCS Division I championship race (18:00) and the HAAL Championship race in 17:49.1. |
 Elaine McVay - California High followwed up a 4th place finish in the NCS Division I championship race (18:31) with a 31st place finish in the CIF Division I state championship race in 18:29. She also placed 2nd in the EBAL championship race in 17:52.9. |
